The kids wanted to go to the beach during the heatwave we just had. I wasn't comfortable taking them alone so we went to the "Castro Valley Beach". Its a man-made lagoon in Castro Valley. They had a blast!!! What I had planned for just a few hour outing ended up lasting all day! Playing along the sandy waters edge building sand castles, hot tubs, and rivers kept everyone occupied. Tommy loved building things, Lucy loved playing in the water, and Johnny loved jumping and falling in the water. A relaxing day and a great way to cool off!
