First Day of School

Tommy and Lucy started school today! Tommy is now in the 2nd grade and Lucy started Kindergaten! Its hard to believe our little girl is old enough for school! Tommy was so cute and told us last night that he could find his classroom on his own so we could be with Lucy since its her first day! I almost cried! To think he is now old enough to go school on his own! Did he?? No Way! Both Patrick and I went and we traded from each one! It was a struggle trying to be in two places at the same time! Lucy was a little nervous! But she LOVES her teacher! She had been hoping for her all summer! She did great, walked into the room, sat at her table, and began to work. When the Teacher told all the kids to look at their parents, tell them "I love you" then tell them "I'll see you later"! I had to look away! The tears welled up in my eyes! I think waving bye to her was harder than when Tommy started! God know how I'll be when Johnny starts :)! They both came out of class beaming! They love school and we know its going to be a GREAT Year!!!!!
