Christmas, Christmas Time is Here...

Time for Joy and Time for Cheer!!! We've been good, but we've been bad...hurry christmas, hurry fast!!!!

It always feels like December is the busiest month of the year! And to Tommy and Lucy it is the longest month! Lucy asks me everyday when is Christmas! Yes..she has an advent calendar...and we've marked it on the calendar, but she STILL asks! Up to this point we've decorated the house. Johnny loves the tree, he has been good with it too. He enjoys rearranging the ornaments on a daily basis, but he has not broken any! Shopping is just about done and Sammy, our cat, has taught me that I need to really tape the bows down as he enjoys pulling them off (a highlight for Lucy). Lucy's girlscout troop went Christmas Caroling at Patricks work. It was really cute to see the little girls all singing their hearts out. That day reminded me just how lucky I am! Tommy learned how to play dreidel in class. He now wants to play it with us all the time! He also sang in his CCD choir for a christmas program. "Happy Birthday Jesus" was my favorite! His cousins Jada and Brooke also sang with him. Lucy took a ride on the "Polar Express" at school. Some magic elves came in and transformed their room into a winterwonderland! They wore their pjs and had hot chocolate. Just before school was over she whispered to me..."When are we getting on the train?" :)! The fun never ends!!! Seeing the smiles on the kids faces and answering ALL of Lucy's questions about Santa and how he does his job makes the magic of christmas all worth it!!!
