I LOVE this time of year!!! I love the shopping :), the gift giving, the lights, decorations, smells, the music, the idea that Santa is watching, and the special memories and traditions. This is the time of year we read a holiday book each night, sit by the fireplace infront of the tree with hot chocolate. And for some reason, this time of year brings back all my wonderful childhood memories of Christmas. Its all about the magic of Christmas! We do have a busy season ahead I will post pics as I get them!
We went and saw Santa!!! The kids wanted to see him early to tell him what they wanted! Tommy wants Santa to bring him Zhu Zhu pets and more DS Games, Lucy an American Girl Doll, and Johnny wants "boom-booms" (drums). The kids loved seeing Santa! Lucy had tons of questions about Santa :) and was happy to learn that the Santa's in the malls are relatives and helpers of the "real" Santa! However, you never know if the real Santa is there for a visit. Johnny was also our only 2 year old who did not cry with Santa!!! It was because of his brother and sisters smiles that kept the tears away!
Enjoy this time of year...I know we will!!!!
